Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience

Experience required

5+ years of experience and demonstrated success in accounting and bookkeeping functions

Residency requirements

U.S. citizenship or have permanent Resident Card (PRC) – (Green Card holder)  

Essential for this position

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping functions
  • Proficient in English; MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent Excel skills, including functions, VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and explain financial information
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Ability to work, service and negotiate at a professional level with internal and external customers
  • Ability to carefully manage confidential information
  • Self-motivated, personable, persistent, diplomatic, organized


Sole Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of data entry and maintenance of the accounting software system
  • Manage cash receipts, bank deposits, cash disbursements, credit card statements and bank reconciliations
  • Complete accounts receivable data entry, invoice creation, collection, and reconciliation
  • Manage accounts payable data entry and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Prepare quarterly sales tax and government contract revenue reports
  • Prepare, interpret and present financial activity to management, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and projections, and ratios
  • Prepare cash flow projections using both short and long-term models with breakeven analysis and assist in revenue projections while apprising management of any potential issues or irregularities
  • Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 31
  • Create corporate budget structure and work with management to populate and manage
  • Manage intercompany transactions and tenant invoicing
  • Coordinate payroll with the assistance of an outside payroll company

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll benefits and related human resource functions
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
  • Manage internal timecard system
