Supporting Wave Harvesting

Since 2018, Czero has been providing engineering services to further develop CalWave’s award-winning Wave Energy Converter (WEC) technology, with the aid of funding by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

CalWave provides an innovative solution to harness the renewable power of ocean waves to produce electricity, and has proven their technology is ready for continued scale-up. In 2022, CalWave successfully concluded an open-ocean wave energy pilot after 10 months of continuous operation off the coast of San Diego, and is now working on full-sized production units.

High-Fidelity Modeling for Hardware Development

Czero uses Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) modeling to de-risk complex systems early in development. By simulating how real hardware and controls will behave under dynamic conditions, we help clients refine performance, speed up development, and avoid costly rework, long before anything hits the shop floor.

Partnerships

Fueling Innovation Together

At Czero, we know innovation accelerates when startups and engineers work side by side. Explore how we collaborate with incubators and accelerators to help groundbreaking ideas scale.
